The rim height can be set to any level you would like between 10' and 6'6" to meet the needs of players of different ages. To set the rim to a new level, use the crank at the back of the post. When the rim is set to the 10' mark the backboard to base extension is 48". As you lower the rim height to 9' the extension moves to 44". At the 8' level backboard to base extension goes down to 40" and at 7' the extension is 35". For safety reasons, the Fury sits "off court."

The Sport II is an extremely durable basketball system that is built to stand up to all kinds of weather conditions. The one-piece post is 4" square and constructed of 11 ga. steel. You don't need to worry about rust attacking the joints, as can happen with models made with sectional posts. 

The Sport II is considered a fixed height goal. Two heavy-duty U bolts are used to attach the extension arm to the vertical post, and these can be loosened if you want to make an adjustment to the rim height. Just tighten them up again when you get to the height along the post that you want. The post to backboard extension distance is 24".
